Full Job Description

The Business Systems Analyst is responsible for both business and systems analysis activities. This role leverages technical, system, and business analysis skills to interact with the business users, analyze their needs, pain points, and help identify technical solutions. They will also work closely with Product Managers to maximize value of the products and systems by analyzing business processes, and then translate, communicate, and document requirements to an agreed or recommended technology solution. This position also collaborates with Project Teams to translate business requirements to technical specifications for implementation or development. This position reports to the VP of Information Technology.


· Minimum of five (5) years of Business Systems Analysis experience

· Experience in analysis and documentation of business processes and requirements

· Proficient in business analysis and communication techniques

· Experience with the Project Life Cycle Management and Systems Development Life Cycle

· Experience working with Agile teams

· Must have strong communication skills both oral and written

· Must have excellent presentation skills to demonstrate and present solutions to stakeholders

· Must have strong analytical skills, inquisitive approach, and insightful thought process

· Must have strong organizational skills and work well within a collaborative team setup

· Ability to see and grasp big-picture concepts quickly and break them down into detailed subcomponents

· Knowledge of Oracle Retail Systems and retail systems

· Project management skills are a plus

· BS degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related technology field
